Honda Insight 2000-2005
Turn ignition off. Press and hold the "TRIP" button in the instrument panel and turn ignition to the "RUN" position. Hold the "TRIP button for at least 10 seconds until "MAINT REQD" lamp turns off. Turn ignition off
Honda Insight 2006
Turn ignition off. Press the "SELECT/RESET" button on the instrument panel, and turn to ignition to the "RUN" position. Hold button for at least 10 seconds until the indicator is reset. Turn ignition off.
Honda Insight 2007-2014
Turn ignition to the "RUN" position. Press the "SEL/ RESET" button on the steering wheel repeatedly until engine oil life is displayed. Press and hold the "SEL/RESET" button for more than 10 seconds. The oil life reset mode will be shown on the multi information display. Select "RESET" by pressing the "INFO" button and then press "SEL/RESET" button to ereset the oil life display. The maintenance item code(s) will turn off and the oil life will reset to 100. Turn ignition off
