Audi A4 Quattro Oil reset Guide 1998-1999 model

  1. Press and hold button on right side of instrument panel.
  2. Turn ignition to the “ON” position. “OIL” or “SERVICE OIL” will appear in display.
  3. Release button. Pull out button on left side of instrument panel until “—” or “SERVICE —” appears in display.
  4. Turn ignition off

Audi A4 Quattro Oil reset Guide 2000-2001 model

  1. With ignition off, press and hold button on right side of instrument panel.
  2. Turn ignition to the “ON” position.
  3. Release button. “SERVICE!” or “SERVICE IN xxxx MI” will appear in display.
  4. Turn button on left side of instrument panel to the left until display clears.
  5. Turn ignition off

  1. With ignition off, press and hold middle button on right side of instrument panel.
  2. Turn ignition to the “ON” position.
  3. Release button. “SERVICE!” or “SERVICE IN xxxx MI” will appear in display.
  4. Press right hand button on right side of instrument panel until display clears.
  5. Turn ignition off

  1. Turn Ignition off.
  2. Press and hold the button on the right of the LCD display in the instrument cluster.
  3. Turn ignition on. “Service” should appear in display.
  4. Within 5 seconds, pull the button and “SERVICE IN… MI…DAYS” will display.
  5. Turn ignition off

  1. Turn ignition to the “RUN” position.
  2. The wrench symbol light will turn on for about 5 seconds, then turn off.
  3. Press the “TRIP’ button and hold for 3 seconds during the time the wrench symbol is illuminated.
  4. The symbol and distance display will begin to flash and will show the current interval.
  5. Release when the flashing begins.

  2. There are 2 knob buttons on the dash, push the right one (TRIP button) until you see Setting.
  3. Scroll down and highlight the Maintenance option and select it by push the knob
  4. Highlight the Service and select it by push the knob
  5. Select Reset and press the knob
